These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Asylum Redux website and its associated Arma 3 game server (together, the "Service"). By logging in, using the Service, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. See also our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You must meet Steam's own minimum age and account requirements to use the Service, since login is handled entirely through Steam. The Service is not directed at children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should only use the Service with a parent or guardian's permission.
We don't issue our own passwords — your account is your Steam identity, verified via Steam OpenID on every login. You're responsible for the security of your own Steam account; we're not responsible for actions taken through your account if your Steam credentials are compromised. Session cookies expire automatically after 7 days.
You agree not to:
In-game conduct on the Arma 3 server itself is additionally governed by the server's own rules, which staff and police/admin roles enforce independently of these Terms.
The store sells crate keys, direct cosmetic unlocks (clothing, vehicle textures, horns), VIP tier contributions, and Asylum+ subscription time. All items are virtual, cosmetic, and/or convenience-only — they have no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are not transferable between accounts or to any other person or platform. We may add, remove, rotate, rebalance, or discontinue any item at any time.
All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. A minimum order total applies at checkout. Prices are shown and charged in U.S. dollars.
Except where required by applicable law, all purchases are final and non-refundable once fulfilled. Fulfillment is automatic and typically happens within moments of a successful payment. Filing a fraudulent chargeback or payment dispute for a purchase you actually received will result in a permanent ban from the Service, in addition to any other remedies available to us, including recovering the disputed amount and any associated fees.
Some items (cosmetic unlocks) can only ever be purchased once per account, since the game has no mechanism to grant duplicates of the same cosmetic. Other items (crate keys, Asylum+ subscription blocks) may be purchased repeatedly, subject to per-order quantity limits shown at checkout.
Asylum+ is a recurring-benefit subscription sold in fixed blocks of time that stack on top of any time you already have; it does not auto-renew and does not count toward your VIP contribution total. VIP tier levels are based on your cumulative lifetime store spending and, once reached, are not lost due to future changes in tier thresholds.
If you submit content to the Service — a wiki edit, a comment, a voting proposal, a support ticket, or similar — you retain ownership of it, but you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, edit, moderate, and remove it as part of operating the Service. We may remove any content at our discretion.
We may suspend or ban your access to the game server or website, remove your in-game rank, or place you on the police blacklist, at our discretion, for violating these Terms, the server's in-game rules, or for fraudulent payment activity. Bans are managed through BattleMetrics and may be appealed through our support ticket system where an appeals process is offered. Blacklist entries are indefinite until formally lifted through that same process.
The Service depends on and integrates with Steam, Stripe, Discord, and BattleMetrics, each governed by its own terms and privacy policy. We're not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of those third-party services.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Game server data, statistics, and store item availability may change without notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Asylum Redux and its staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of in-game progress, items, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to a store purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for conduct we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Service or other players. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 4.3, 8, and 9) will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
Questions about these Terms can be sent through our Support Tickets system, or via our Discord.
